SynkroTech — covering the web platform (synkrotech.net). Last updated 8 October 2026.

Who We Are

SynkroTech builds property management software used by managing agents to run residential blocks; SynkroTech Trade is the part of it contractors sign in to. For data held inside a managing agent's SynkroTech workspace, that agent is the data controller and we act as their processor.

What We Collect

  • Account details — your name and email address, used to create and secure your account and to show colleagues who did what.
  • Sign-in identity — if you sign in with Google or Microsoft we receive your verified email address and display name from them. We never see or store your Google or Microsoft password. If you use an email-and-password account, the password is stored only as a salted hash.
  • The records you create — properties, repairs, service-charge records, documents, messages and similar working data belong to the organisation whose workspace they live in.
  • Trade app data — jobs, invoices, receipts and receipt photographs you record. Receipt photographs are stored on your device and are deleted when you sign out of that device.
  • Demo requests — the name, organisation, work email, number of units managed, and the phone number and message if you give them, sent from the Book a Demo form. Kept to arrange and follow up your demonstration, read only by SynkroTech's own team, and deleted 24 months after the last reply.

What We Do Not Do

  • No advertising, no ad tracking, no analytics resold to anyone.
  • No sale of personal data, ever.
  • No reading of your mailbox beyond what you explicitly connect and see on screen.

Where Data Lives

Data is hosted in the United Kingdom and the European Union (server in London; encrypted backups in the EU). Transfers between the UK and EU are covered by the UK adequacy decision.

Support Access

SynkroTech's support staff cannot open a managing agent's records unless that agent's administrator grants support access. A grant lasts for a set time — four hours unless the administrator chooses otherwise, and never more than 72 — and the administrator can revoke it at any time. While it lasts, a "SynkroTech Support" account appears in the agency's own user list, and every request made under the grant is written to a support log the agency can read and nobody can edit.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access is controlled by role-based permissions; sessions are signed tokens with a 12-hour life. Databases are continuously replicated to encrypted off-site storage.

Your Rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the legal retention duties that apply to property management records (for example, service-charge accounting records that must be kept). If your data lives in a managing agent's workspace, direct the request to that agent — we will help them fulfil it.
