Keeping it running
These are the administrator's jobs after the first week: changing the wording of letters and emails, people joining and leaving, keeping sign-in safe, answering "who did this?", and getting help.
Most of them are under Settings. Settings is grouped into Organisation, Finance, Correspondence, Access, Operations and Inspections; type in Find a setting to go straight to one.
Two things are not done in SynkroTech itself:
- Connections to outside services, such as Xero, a bank feed or a print-and-post service, are set up for your organisation by SynkroTech. Once one is set up, your organisation connects or disconnects its own account under Finance Integrations.
- Each portal's web address is set by SynkroTech too. Until it is, invitation letters cannot say where to sign in (see Putting the sign-in addresses and posters in front of people).
Every change to who can sign in is recorded permanently, with your name.
Changing how SynkroTech works for you
- Changing a letter or email template
- Setting how long personal data is kept
- Exporting a register to a spreadsheet
- Seeing what your plan includes and how much you have used
People and access
- Removing a colleague's access or moving their work to someone else
- Setting how colleagues sign in, and how long a session lasts
- Putting the sign-in addresses and posters in front of people
- Finding out who did what (the Decision Record)
