When things go wrong
This chapter gathers every problem from the "If something's wrong" part of each task, grouped the same way as the tasks. Find the one that matches what you see, and follow the link to the task that explains it.
Three things to try first, whatever the problem:
- Read the reason beside a greyed button. A button that cannot be used yet says why, next to it, under it, or when you point at it. The reason usually names what is missing.
- Read the message in full. SynkroTech's messages say what happened, what was not done, and what to do next. "Nothing was emailed" means nothing was emailed; "released is not delivered" means the Outbox has not yet sent it.
- Check the record's Activity. The foot of every record lists what was done to it, by whom and when.
If none of this helps, ask for help from inside SynkroTech (see Asking SynkroTech for help). Say what you pressed, what you expected and what you saw.
